Short Vacation Belgian Table Beer Homebrew Recipe

Below is the homebrew-scale recipe for Short Vacation, a Belgian table beer brewed by Insight Brewing specifically for the Chop & Brü Prefunk Party. The beer will be on tap for the party. If you are coming to the party, consider brewing your own version and bringing it to sample alongside the pro version. (Note: all Prefunk Party homebrew must be registered. See this link for the very quick, simple registration form.) If you can’t make it to the party, brew your own at home and raise a glass with us — in spirit — on the evening of Wednesday, June 14, 2017.

The ingredients for the event exclusive beer were donated by BSG CraftBrewing (malts and hops) and Imperial Organic Yeast (yeast). Big thanks to Insight, BSG and Imperial Organic Yeast for their help in creating something very special for our Homebrew Con 2017 pre-conference party.

We’ll update this recipe page with tasting notes of Insight Brewing’s version when the finished, conditioned and ready to enjoy. Cheers!
