The Norwegian Kornølfestival is like the Homebrew Con and GABF of Norwegian farmhouse ales fermented with kveik. In this episode, Chip talks with two festival organizers — Lars Marius Garshol and Stig Seljeset — about this year’s virtual version of the festival before discussing more widely the global interest in and appreciation of kveik yeast strains. Stig is also the family-owner of Kveik #22 Stellja; we learn a bit about his family history with farmhouse brewing.
