Healthy Hacks for Homebrewers

This episode is a bit different from our usual brew days or pro brewer interviews. It’s more personal and focuses on a topic that we rarely discuss in homebrew nerd settings – our health. It’s a session from Homebrew Con 2021 led by homebrewer Travis Hammond (QUAFF), and co-presented here with support from the American Homebrewers Association. Travis’s seminar looks at some of the things that helped him prioritize his health while also enjoying what we all love so much – great beer, homebrewing, and good times with good friends. He shares some of what he’s learned about exercise, diet, and alcohol intake. What works for him, and admittedly where he still struggles.

DISCLAIMER: Travis is not a doctor or dietician. What he presents are only suggestions based on his experiences. If the ideas and concepts discussed here inspire you to make small or big changes in your life, please see your primary care physician or other professional to build a plan.
